Decision for a low energy price in Skovlund

Solar Thermal energy has now also spread to Skovlund. Skovlund District Heating has signed a contract for a 2970m2 solar heating installation with an annual production of 1,545 MWh. Sunmark will install the solar thermal system during the summer.

Economically, solar thermal energy is already out-performing all other forms of energy and is truly environmentally sustainable being CO2 free. Solar heating ensures stable and competitive energy prices for minimum 25 years and contributes to the annual energy savings, which the Danish government has imposed on all district heating plants every year until 2020.
