District heating expands the existing thermal solar plant with 45%

The decision of an expansion of the existing thermal solar installation with the dimension of 4.900 m2 is based upon trust in the technology of thermal solar energy. Since the existing plant has met all expectations the District Heating in the Danish town Aroskobing wants to expand it with 2.195 m2. SUNMARK delivers 160 solar collectors which will be mounted at the end of 2009. Beside the thermal solar installation, Aroskobing district heating`s production plant consists of a straw boiler and provides 550 consumers with heat. The total thermal solar plant with a dimension of 7.095 m2 will be equal to 13 m2 per consumer.
