Jagerspris (DK) chooses thermal solar energy

Jagerspris CHP (Denmark) has decided to install a thermal solar installation with a dimension of 10.000 m2 at the beginning of 2010. The collector field will consist of 729 solar collectors with an annual production of approx. 5.000 Mwh, equivalent to almost 300 households’ annual consumption or 16% of the plant's annual heat production.

Environment will also benefit from the new thermal solar installation since the CO2 emmission will be reduced by approx. 1.700 tons annually. The plant can be expanded to 13.000 m2.
