Startup of a solar heating installation in Thailand

The solar heating plant for fish processing was started up in March 2009. Thai Union Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is one of the biggest producers of canned tuna in Thailand. The producer signed the contract about a solar heating plant from SUNMARK in November 2008. Already in March 2009 the installation was completed.

The installation has been taken into operation in February 2009 and consists of 33 solar collectors with a size of 14 m2 each, equivalent to 25 m3/day at 90C will supply the company with hot water for the fish processing.
