Startup of the thermal solar installation in Sønderborg/Denmark

On the 4th April the thermal solar installation in the Danish town called Sønderborg was officially started up. Many guest came to see the 14 m2 solar collectors performing.
The final plant will cover about 9.000 m2 and will meet 50% of the district heating requirements of the local area. The plant will be equipped with a heat station. However, the station will only be used if the solar heating installation cannot produce enough energy.
